Upper Hemel-en-Aarde. The Serenity is a red blend which shows off lovely complexity of dark fruit, cherries, hints of chocolate and spices with subtle French Oak induced smoke. He doesn't name the varietals in the blend, but rather wants the wine to be a pure expression of their unique soil and climate.
Ataraxia Sauvignon Blanc
Upper Hemel-en-Aarde. This wine favours individuality and minerality ahead of pure, pungent fruit, but still shows hints of passion fruit and citrus as well as green melon aromas. These are effortlessly reflected on the palate and are complemented by a lively acidity which underpins a classy structure and succulent texture. A wine of substantial poise, length and charm.
